The "V" word
Violence..can a person be violent if there is nothing around him but himself? Most probably what we mean by violence is violence against others rather than self. In any case, it is this violence against others that is the subject of this post.
I noticed as I travel to Egypt, my birthplace, that the minute a set foot there, I am surrounded by violent actions. This prompted me to think about this phenomenon and why it exists and why it does exist more in my beloved birthplace. To be continued....
يلا نفسى ؟
يا رب بلدى و حبايبىو المجتمع و الناس
اجعلنى شمعه تنور بالحب و الاخلاص
اجعلنى دفعه قويه فى عجلة الانتاج
اخواتى تلبس و تاكل و لغيرنا ما نحتاج

اجعلنى حبه تفرع و تبقى فدادين سنابل
تحضن فروعها الايادى و تبوس جذورها المناجل
وابذر علىالناس محبه و بسمه فى كل دار
و ان مت اجعلنى طوبه يعلو بيها جدار

انا ايه لولا الناس بحالها لولا انتو ايه فايدتى
لو كنتش اخدم بلادى هاتبقىايه لازمتى
دا اصلنا الانسانيه و الاب واحد يا عالم
وكلنا دم واحد الفين سلام لك يا أدم
